Job summary

A leading global logistics provider in Penang is seeking an experienced accounting manager to lead a team of accountants. The candidate will oversee accounting and controlling for assigned countries, ensuring accuracy and quality of work. Responsibilities

  • Coordinate jobs migration from the country to SSC as per plan.
  • Achieve cost-efficiency and eliminate redundancy through the center.
  • Engage and motivate the team.
  • Plan resources and drive efficiencies.

Responsibilities
  • She will be leading and managing a team of accountant to supporting the accounting and controlling for the countries he or she assigned.
  • Assigning and organise roles and responsibilities to the team members.
  • Review the works or tasks done by the team to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Providing guidance and coaching to the team on new policies, work instructions and new requirements from the Group.
  • Coordinate and manage the month balance sheet review with the Regional and Country.
  • Work closely with the Management to implement or drive for standardization of processes across countries support by this centre.
  • Drive for commonality and simplify processes in line with Company’s policies and guidelines.
  • Leading and coordinate all jobs migration from the country to SSC according to the plan schedules.
  • Achieve cost-efficient and eliminate redundancy through the centre.
  • Team engagement and motivation.
  • Resource planning and drive for efficiencies.
  • Monitory KPI of the team.
Supervisory Responsibilities
  • Able to manage a team of accountants and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work with different cultures and to manage cross functional interfaces.
  • Able to guide and providing coaching to the team.
