Job summary

A leading educational institution in Penang is seeking a dedicated Primary School Tutor to facilitate learning and nurture children. The ideal candidate will create engaging lesson plans, provide academic support, and ensure children's safety and well-being. The position requires strong teaching and communication skills, alongside a passion for education. In addition, exposure to Montessori teaching and proficiency in Mandarin are advantageous. Comprehensive training will be provided for selected candidates.

Responsibilities

• Plan lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum and implement daily programmes for assigned classes.

• Participate in school activities including year-end concerts and excursions.
• Serve as a Primary School Tutor by providing academic support and tutoring.

Job description

Plan lesson plans in accordance with the curriculum and implement daily programmes for assigned classes

Provide routine care and ensure the safety, well-being, and hygiene of children

Facilitate children’s learning through Montessori materials and other hands-on manipulative resources

Actively participate in school activities, including year-end concerts, excursions, centre promotional events, and other experiential learning activities

Serve as a Primary School Tutor by providing academic support, tutoring, and homework guidance
