Job summary

A supply chain management firm based in Malaysia, Selangor, is looking for a skilled professional to maintain optimal inventory levels and manage shipping tracking. This role requires strong familiarity with data analysis and collaboration with sales to ensure product supply. Ideal candidates will have 2 to 5 years of experience in inventory planning, with excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. A tertiary qualification in business or supply chain is valued but not essential.

Job description

• Maintain optimal inventory levels in warehouse
• Ensure alignment with supply chain processes and service level agreement
• Manage shipping tracking
• Monitor and report significant forecast variances to the demand team
• Collaborate with sales to ensure consistent product supply
• Place orders within expected lead times and adjust as needed based on demand
• Identify and rectify inventory errors and improve planning parameters
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders to support supply chain functions
• Gather feedback and provide insights to enhance inventory performance

Skills :

• Proficiency in analysing and interpreting data for decision making
• Advanced data analysis capabilities and Excel proficiency
• Basic knowledge on ERP system
• Proven experience in inventory planning, ideally within manufacturing or retail supply chain
• Ability to thrive under time pressure

• Confidence in managing daily operations alongside project work
