Job summary

A leading logistics company in Malaysia seeks a Supply Chain Specialist to manage the full export process. The role involves preparing commercial documents, coordinating shipments, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Logistics or a related field, along with 2–3 years of experience in export and import operations. Job description

Working under Direct Superior, assisting in Supply Chain department with import and export of our company products.

Job Responsibility
  1. Handle full export process (International & East Malaysia) from order confirmation to shipment delivery.
  2. Prepare and manage commercial documents – invoice, packing list, COO, BL/AWB, Form E/D, health certificate, etc.
  3. Coordinate with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and warehouses to ensure timely export shipments.
  4. Manage booking, container loading, and schedule planning for FCL/LCL shipments.
  5. Liaise with customers, distributors, and regulatory bodies to resolve shipping or documentation issues.
  6. Maintain accurate export shipment records and filing for audit and customs reference.
  7. Monitor and track export performance, shipment cost, and delivery lead time.
  8. Handle end-to-end import documentation and coordination with suppliers and forwarders.
  9. Monitor shipment schedules, ETD/ETA, and clearance status.
  10. Work with custom brokers to ensure timely import clearance under correct HS Code classification.
  11. Verify supplier invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents for accuracy.
  12. Manage import permits, FTA/COO application, and duty exemption (if applicable).
  13. Liaise with finance and warehouse teams for goods receipt and payment process.
  14. Liaise with Supplier, coordinate & plan loading schedule for shipment purposes.
MUST TO HAVE:
  • Diploma/Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, International Business, or related field.
  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in export/import within FMCG or manufacturing.
  • Strong knowledge of international trade documentation & INCOTERMS.
  • Familiar with HS codes, FTA/COO applications, and customs procedures.
  • Experience with forwarders, shipping portals, and export systems (DagangNet, EPCO, etc.).
