Our client is a leading player in the duty‑free industry, offering premium products across multiple categories such as luxury goods, beauty, fashion, spirits, and more. With a strong presence globally, they are now expanding into the Malaysian market and seeking a Supply Chain Executive to manage the company's end-to-end supply chain operations.
Key Responsibilities
Supply & Demand Planning
- Perform demand forecasting based on sales trends, historical data, and market insights.
- Monitor stock levels and ensure optimal replenishment to avoid stock‑out or overstock.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, and Operations teams on new products, promotions, and seasonal demand.
Procurement & Vendor Management
- Manage sourcing, purchasing, and negotiation with suppliers for price, lead time, and quality.
- Evaluate supplier performance and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Monitor purchase orders, delivery schedules, and resolve supply issues promptly.
Inventory & Warehouse Control
- Oversee daily inventory accuracy and conduct regular cycle counts / stock‑take.
- Ensure proper stock rotation (FIFO / FEFO) especially for FMCG/perishable items.
- Work closely with warehouse teams on receiving, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching activities.
Logistics & Distribution
- Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics with transporters, 3PLs, and internal teams.
- Monitor delivery performance and ensure on‑time, in‑full (OTIF) compliance.
- Optimize transportation routes, loading efficiency, and cost reduction initiatives.
Process Improvement
- Identify operational gaps and propose improvement plans in supply chain processes.
- Implement cost‑saving initiatives, workflow optimization, and digital tools (ERP / WMS).
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and safety regulations.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare supply chain performance reports (inventory turnover, forecast accuracy, OTIF, wastage).
- Analyze data and provide insights to support management decisions.
- Highlight risks, delays, or supply disruptions and propose corrective actions.
