Supply Chain Assistant Manager - Industrial Manufacturing
  • Drive supplier selection, contract negotiations, and ensure cost-effective, reliable supply.
  • Build and maintain strong supplier relationships through audits and performance reviews.
  • Manage procurement documentation and approvals in SAP.
  • Implement cost‑control measures and report procurement performance to management.
  • Ensure adherence to company policies, DG regulations, and industry standards.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and enforce safety compliance at external warehouses.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance and manage permits for storage and imports.
  • Plan stock levels based on forecasts and production schedules.
  • Lead audits and ensure documentation readiness with corrective actions.
  • Oversee international and domestic logistics, including freight negotiations and customs clearance.
  • Coordinate with shipping agents and authorities for smooth cargo movement.
  • Monitor logistics costs and optimize trucking and distribution efficiency.
  • Ensure timely material availability for production.
  • Work with sales, finance, and regional teams to align supply chain with business forecasts.
  • Support SIOP initiatives to improve planning and profitability.
  • Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve KPIs.
  • Review and implement SOPs for procurement and logistics.
  • Drive cost reduction, process optimization, and digitalization projects.
  • Maintain strong governance and compliance, especially for DG cargo handling.

A successful Supply Chain Assistant Manager should have:
