- Monitor logistics costs and optimize trucking and distribution efficiency.
- Ensure timely material availability for production.
- Work with sales, finance, and regional teams to align supply chain with business forecasts.
- Support SIOP initiatives to improve planning and profitability.
- Lead and mentor the supply chain team to achieve KPIs.
- Review and implement SOPs for procurement and logistics.
- Drive cost reduction, process optimization, and digitalization projects.
- Maintain strong governance and compliance, especially for DG cargo handling.
A successful Supply Chain Assistant Manager should have:
- Leadership qualities to guide and motivate a team effectively. Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.
- 7‑10 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or logistics within manufacturing or chemical industries.
- Strong understanding of international shipping, customs clearance, and DG cargo regulations.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001:2015 standards and compliance processes.
- Proficiency in SAP; knowledge of Power BI is an advantage.
- Proven leadership skills with ability to manage teams and cross‑functional stakeholders effectively.
- Expertise in strategic sourcing, negotiation, and freight management.
- Strong analytical, reporting, and inventory optimization skills.
