Job summary

A leading tech company in Kulai, Malaysia, seeks an operational support professional to maintain efficient daily operations. Responsibilities

  • Support daily operations and report to team leader as required.
  • Ensure cargo received is in good status and complete the system process in SAP.
  • Maintain organized, clean, and safe work environment.
Job description
  • Support daily operations by reporting to team leader for as required and escalate abnormalities or concerns as appropriate for further clarification.
  • Aim to complete daily tasks within expected timelines contributing to the achievement of operational KPI requirement.

  • Contribute to 5S Management activities by maintaining an organized, clean and safe working environment which is preferable and adds value to overall operational efficiency.

R&R in each team:

a) Receiving

  • Check to ensure the received cargo is in good status, consistent with documents, then complete the system process in SAP to receive cargo.
  • Follow the QC rule to transfer the inbound cargo to IQC/MBT dept for inspection.
  • Consolidated the inspected cargo to move to inventory team.
  • Keep record of the damaged cargo. File damage report to relevant depts according to trading terms with vendor.
  • Check the IQC passed cargo. Enter the cargo data, including Date code, batch, revision, and COO into E-Logbook for inventory control.
  • Arrange the cargo storage location per material category and do physical put-away.
  • Follow First In, First Out rule to pick up the goods from bin according to the requirements of orders, then transfer to RD, RMA, production, or trucking team for next step.
  • Scan the SN of product to PDBS as PICK process.
  • Check out the cargo from E-logbook for timely stock update.
  • Execute daily cycle count and annual physical count for inventory accuracy.
  • Perform Storage, picking with ASRS.

c) Packing

  • Checking the cargo from inventory team is consistent with customer order and matches the special requirement remarked in order comment column.
  • Pack the cargo with proper material to make sure it will be shipped in a safe manner.
  • Scan the serial number as PACK process for warranty purpose.
  • Prepare the shipping label and paste to physical cargo and outer box.

d) Trucking

  • Check the received cargo and review customer orders if any special requirements.
  • Build up the pallets with packaging straps, wrapping films, corner protection and add
  • corresponding shipping marks, labels for safe transportation.
  • Calculate container loading to make sure the order volume will fit the container size.
  • Examine the pick-up information from truckers, release freight, double check package count, take photos for record. Then monitor the trucker to sign out in WFCM to complete the freight release process for revenue recognition.
