Sr Interior Designers (High-End Residential/Commercial Design)

Senior Interior Designers (High-End Residential/Commercial Interior Design)

Job Responsibilities

• Report to Project Manager/Senior Project Manager.
• Develop detailed drawings and plans for interior design projects, including layouts, elevations, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager and other team members to understand project requirements and design concepts.
• Create and update CAD drawings based on project needs and revisions.
• Ensure that all drawings comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and residential and commercial property standards.
• Operate computer for drafting engineering, products, drawings and copying existing drawings in Vectorworks, Sketchup, 2D, 3D, Solid Works and AutoDesk Inventor.
• Work with project team on design briefings, revisions, developing solutions to resolve design matters and to meet within the given budget and deadline.
• Produce impressive 3D model and visual renderings, sketches, space planning, layout plans, working with detailed CAD drawings and graphic briefs.
• Follow up/meeting client and produce furniture layout plan, style proposal.
• Undertake other duties and responsibilities as instructed by superior.

Job Requirements

• Degree or higher in Interior Design, Interior Architecture or equivalent.
• Tech‑Savvy Designer: Proficiency in Vectorworks, Sketchup, 2Ds, 3Ds Max, AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop with a strong understanding of CAD software, Adobe Illustrator or relevant.
• Minimum of 5 years' experience in the construction industry, property development, with high knowledge in high‑end residential/commercial design.
• Construction Knowledge: Familiarity with building trades including electrical, carpentry, plumbing, and general construction.
• Ability to visit construction sites and participate in inspections as needed.
• Excellent time management skill and able to meet tight deadlines.
• Strong sense of responsibilities, highly energized, independent, pleasant personality and a good attitude.
• Have strong extremely analytic skills and alert on noticing detailing.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia (written and spoken).
• Able to work under tight schedules to meet datelines.
• An excellent verbal and written communication & interpersonal skills.
