Desaru Peace Holdings Club Sdn Bhd is looking for a talented Spa Therapist to join our team. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional spa and wellness services to our guests in our luxury resort located in Bandar Penawar, Johor.

The Spa Therapist is responsible for delivering expert massages, facial, and body treatments to guests, with thorough knowledge of various massage and therapy modalities. The role ensures exceptional treatments in line with wellness and hotel brand standards, while maintaining five-star client care, hygiene, and grooming. Spa Therapists are expected to learn product and service protocols to provide effective wellness solutions for guests. Revenue generation through retail, upselling, and cross‑selling to other spa business centers is also part of the role.

Key Duties & Responsibilities
Guest Service & Treatment

Deliver all treatments to an exceptional standard, following wellness protocols and tailoring services to meet individual guest needs.

Conduct detailed consultations with clients prior to treatments, identifying medical history and concerns.

Protect the guest experience by moving quietly in treatment rooms and corridors.

Maintain confidentiality at all times, including personal data and medical information.

Update guest profiles consistently, recording preferences and communicating relevant information to colleagues.

Provide aftercare recommendations at the end of each treatment, linking with client concerns and preparing products for purchase at reception.

Encourage clients to return by recommending ongoing treatment programs and cross‑selling other spa services.

Maintain a strong knowledge of all treatments, packages, promotions, and wellness standards.

Participate in demonstrations and events as required.

Handle guest complaints professionally by reporting them to the Duty Manager promptly.

Retail & Revenue Generation

Achieve retail sales targets as set by the Spa.

Recommend relevant products and services to guests, supporting cross‑sales to other spa business centers.

Use correct quantities of products as specified by manufacturers.

Hygiene, Safety & Equipment Management

Maintain cleanliness, sterilization, and hygiene of all treatment equipment, products, and linens in treatment and preparation areas.

Follow treatment room opening and closing procedures, reporting any maintenance issues to the Duty Manager.

Support Spa Attendants in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout spa facilities.

Attend training on Health and Safety legislation and hygiene standards.

Act responsibly regarding personal safety and the safety of colleagues and guests.

Professionalism & Team Support

Maintain a high standard of personal appearance and hygiene as required by the Team Leader/Manager – Spa.

Be punctual and prepared for all scheduled treatments.

Support all spa departments, including reception and attendant duties, when required.

Adhere to all training set by the Team Leader/Manager – Spa and attend additional courses as necessary.

Perform any additional duties as requested by management.
