We are seeking a highly motivated software engineer eager to build a career in one of the fastest-growing FinTech companies in Singapore.

Important: This role requires candidates to work Night Shifts in Malaysia to support US-based operations. Please apply only if you are comfortable with this schedule.

Our team owns and manages trading solutions within the group, ensuring system reliability and smooth operations across the entire trading lifecycle. You will collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders, gaining exposure to both technical system architecture and domain knowledge.

This is a hands-on, technical role with a strong emphasis on backend development. You will also act as the first line of defense for production issues, leveraging your technical expertise to identify and resolve problems quickly.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend systems with a focus on clean, efficient code
• Collaborate with project teams to ensure successful UAT completion
• Provide production support for mission-critical trading systems
• Monitor system health, troubleshoot issues, and ensure timely resolution of incidents
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive measures
• Participate in rotational support for critical systems
• Take part in occasional weekend BCP/DR exercises

Requirements

• Willingness and ability to work night shifts
• Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Strong proficiency in Java (Spring Boot) or C# (ASP.NET) with solid OOP fundamentals
• Solid knowledge of SQL and database troubleshooting
• Good understanding of data structures, async/await, and locking mechanisms
• Strong accountability, problem-solving skills, and ability to perform under pressure

• Basic networking knowledge
• Experience with Message Queues or other messaging middleware
• Interest or understanding of financial markets, especially equity trading products
