We are seeking a Software Configuration Management Engineer with experience in software development process. This role is critical to ensuring traceability, integrity, and audit readiness of software life cycle data and artifacts. You will drive Software Configuration Management strategy, lead change control, and work closely with engineering and certification teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
Provide guidance and training to teams on Software Configuration Management tools, best practices, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Evaluate, manage, and optimize Software Configuration Management tools and technologies e.g - SVN, GitHub, JIRA & IBM DOORS
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in software/computer engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of experience in software configuration management.
Strong understanding of traceability, baseline management, and change control.
Experience with problem reporting systems and integration with Software Configuration Management workflows.
Proficiency with Software Configuration Management tools such as SVN, Git, DOORS, JIRA, IBM EWM.
Strong documentation, communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams.
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
