Job description

Location: Mersing
Employment Type: Contract (until completion of project)
Department: Construction

Supervise, coordinate, and monitor all site works to ensure progress and quality meet project requirements.

Ensure construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.

Plan and allocate manpower, materials, and equipment effectively for daily operations.

Conduct daily site inspections and resolve technical or coordination issues on-site.

Liaise with Project Manager, Engineers, and Subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.

Ensure compliance with site safety, health, and environmental regulations.

Report any unsafe practices or conditions to the Safety and Health Officer (SHO).

Prepare and submit daily site reports, progress updates, and photo records.

Verify and monitor materials deliveries, usage, and stock levels.

Ensure proper housekeeping and site organization at all times.

Attend site meetings and coordinate with consultants, clients, and authorities when required.

Supervise rework or rectification works to maintain project quality standards.

Job Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in related field.

Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, and safety regulations.

Ability to read and interpret construction plans, drawings, and specifications.

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Good organizational and time-management skills.

Ability to coordinate workers, subcontractors, and daily site activities.

Willing to travel & relocate to site – Johor.
