Job description

Site Reliability Engineer - Network (ID: 688077)

Responsible for the operation and maintenance of terminal cloud service networks, including network changes, routine inspections, network design, and planning.

Identify and propose improvement requirements and suggestions based on daily network operations and follow up on implementation progress.

Diagnose and troubleshoot existing network issues, perform technical analysis, and provide effective network solutions.

Conduct network operation and maintenance data analysis and modeling development; be familiar with network protocols and problem diagnosis; perform data cleaning, analysis, and report development.

Proficient in data analysis, SQL optimization, and Python scripting; able to independently plan and develop network monitoring dashboards, inspection scripts, and diagnostic scripts.

No standby and shift working hours required.

Energetic team working environment.

Working location around KLCC area (Walking distance from LRT/MRT Ampang Park station).

Working with major client that are well‑known in the networking and system infrastructure field!

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Telecommunications, Automation, or related fields, with at least 5 years of network‑related experience.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, capable of diagnosing network faults and providing effective network solutions.
• Proficient in TCP/IP model, network design and planning, and familiar with BGP, OSPF, and network security principles and configurations.
• Familiar with cloud‑based network products such as Elastic Public IP (EIP), NAT Gateway (NATGW), Enterprise Router (ER), VPC, and CDN, including their configuration and planning.
• Well‑versed in DNS, TCP, HTTP, and HTTPS protocols, with the ability to perform packet analysis and troubleshooting.
• Skilled in log integration, data cleaning, and programming with Python and SQL.
• Knowledge of cloud‑native technologies, including CCE (Cloud Container Engine), containers, and auto‑scaling.
