Job Description Summary

To manage and supervise the manufacturing process, supervisor and other resources assigned to him/her to achieve the organizational goals. To assist the Production Unit Manager and above in coordinating all aspects of production and to ensure product from raw materials to packaged items are economically produced on schedule and according to specifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Shift Leader 1. To ensure safety compliance is met as per OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration). 2. Fully comprehend the company’s quality and business ethic policies and apply them in daily behavior and practices. 3. To take ownership and accountability for setting and driving safety, quality, delivery and cost for benchmark performance. 4. Ensure all company rules, regulations and Good Manufacturing Process requirements are complied with by employees. 5. To plan, organize, lead, and control all production activities and resources to achieve the operation plan. 6. To generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on Production activities and related issues. 7. Control of Work-In-Progress and material usage. 8. Lead projects related to process improvement or product line extension. 9. Upkeep and maintain production areas using 5S and Lean Manufacturing principles. 10. To ensure effective communication to both immediate supervisors and subordinates alike and across functional boundaries. 11. To be a role model to employees by demonstrating leadership quality, commitment, right attitude and to be pro‑active in the production, quality and engineering Team. 12. Contribute to team effort by achieving related results as needed. 13. To perform any other relevant task or duties as and when directed by Superior.

Education & Qualification

• Degree in any discipline with 2 years experience in supervisory role in a manufacturing environment OR
• Diploma in Supervisory Management or Production Management with 4 years of supervisory experience or 2 years in Medical Device Manufacturing Environment
