Qualifications

Job description

Job Descriptions:

• Supporting the effective implementation of all maintenance routines and procedures while ensuring a high level of service delivery to tenants.
• Maintaining proper inventory controls to achieve cost-effective operations and keeping an updated list of all third-party service and repair providers to ensure the building’s structures, systems, and equipment remain in good working condition at all times.
• Contributing to the planning, implementation, and monitoring of energy-saving and conservation strategies, as well as investigating and troubleshooting equipment failures before engaging external service providers.
• Providing electrical-related tasks, Air-cond and technical support for fit-out drawings and all other contracts, coordinating and supervising work carried out by external contractors, and monitoring external building areas such as wall structures, roofing, parking zones, and landscaped areas.
• Conducting regular inspections of customer facilities—including toilets, prayer rooms, and storerooms—maintaining an organised workshop and storage area, and performing minor repair works such as painting and small equipment servicing.
• Oversee pest control programmes to ensure a pest-free environment and ensure compliance with local authority requirements and the company’s Health and Safety Policy to maintain a safe environment for staff, customers, and visitors.
• Additional duties assigned by management shall be performed as required.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum SPM or Certificate in Electrical/Mechanical or LV Chargeman.
• Must be able to communicate very well in Bahasa Malaysia and English.
• Computer literacy and able to write a simple report.
• Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in building operations, maintenance management, and support services.
• Hands-on knowledge in handling all technical aspects of building and utilities.
• General retailing experience.
• Strong technical knowledge in Low Voltage (LV) electrical systems, components, distribution boards, switchgear, and control panels.
• Ability to operate, maintain, and troubleshoot LV electrical installations in compliance with Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) regulations.
• Competency in performing electrical isolation, testing, and troubleshooting to ensure safety and efficiency.
• Skilled in diagnosing electrical faults, resolving breakdowns, and restoring power supply promptly to minimize downtime.
• Ability to read and interpret single-line diagrams (SLDs), electrical schematics, fit-out drawings, and technical specifications.
