Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimise thermoforming processes to improve efficiency, quality, and cost performance
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to reduce defects, waste, and cycle time
  • Analyse process data and implement effective technical solutions
  • Oversee thermoforming tooling design, development, maintenance, and troubleshooting
  • Lead automation and technology improvement projects, including robotics and process control systems
  • Evaluate and implement new manufacturing technologies to enhance productivity and competitiveness
  • Train and support production and engineering teams on best practices and machine operations
  • Represent the company at industry events and exhibitions when required
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 10 years of hands‑on experience in manufacturing technology, process engineering, or automation role within plastics manufacturing (preferably thermoforming)
  • Experience in automation, robotics, or process control integration is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project management skills
  • Able to work independently and collaborate across functions
  • Proactive, results‑driven, and comfortable in a dynamic manufacturing environment
  • Good communication and presentation skills
