A financial services provider in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Software Developer to participate in the software development lifecycle from requirements analysis to deployment. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, 7+ years of experience, and strong proficiency in .NET technologies and AWS cloud solutions. The candidate will work with Agile methodologies, design microservices, and ensure high-quality software delivery. The position requires working from the office and candidates must work during Malaysia public holidays, compensated with additional leave if needed.
An Australian‑based provider of full service and online broking, corporate finance and financial advisory services to private, institutional and corporate clients.
Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis to design, coding, testing, and deployment.
Design, develop, and maintain microservices, event‑driven systems, and container‑based applications.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship through code reviews and knowledge sharing.
Collaborate with product owners, designers, QA engineers, and other teams to ensure high-quality software delivery.
Actively contribute to Agile ceremonies such as daily stand‑ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
Promote best practices, including CI/CD, TDD, and observability for system monitoring.
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following SOLID principles and established design patterns.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications for performance, scalability, and reliability.
Design and implement scalable cloud solutions leveraging AWS services, with a focus on Docker and ECS orchestration.
Candidates must be willing to work on Malaysia Public Holiday. Your holiday will follow the Australian public holiday hence you are required to work during Malaysia public holidays. If there are less AU Holidays than MY holidays, it will be compensated through additional annual leave days corresponding to the shortfall for that calendar year.
