About the job

Based at the Mandarin Oriental, Kuala Lumpur / within the Sales & Commerce Department in Kuala Lumpur, the Senior Sales Manager is responsible for generating room business from all existing Corporate and potential Government and Embassies accounts, coordinating customer requirements with other departments to achieve maximum guest satisfaction and profitability for the hotel. The Senior Sales Manager reports to the Director of Sales / Director of Commercial Strategy.

As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:
  • Seek and development of new potential accounts through direct enquiries, etc
  • To be fully aware of the potential, buying decisions of all-key accounts, competitive information on rates and volume to allow for specific strategic planning related to such accounts
  • To peruse daily arrival and reservations’ report, to be fully aware of clients’ presence in the hotel and make contacts where required
  • To be constantly aware of MOKUL occupancy and average rate
  • Monitor individual corporate accounts’ monthly production for both MNC and Non MNC account and attend monthly corporate account review meetings
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate production statistics on all corporate accounts
  • Maintains all client files according to the standards required
As Senior Sales Manager, we expect from you:
