Overview

Hitachi Energy's Grid Integration business unit delivers transmission and substation projects and offers Power Consulting for renewables, transmission, distribution and e‑transportation solutions.

Responsibilities
  • Act as business partner to the Operation Manager and Project Managers, responsible for all financial and commercial matters and actively drive the project performance across multiple projects.
  • Cover all financial, commercial and tax aspects, support project invoicing, manage currency risk, tax issues, bonds, guarantees and coordinate financial accounting and reporting.
  • Optimize project cash flow, revenues and gross margin contribution, prepare Financial MIS and circulate performance information to management and project teams.
  • Establish project governance, identify opportunities and risks, drive mitigation actions, prepare monthly project reviews jointly with the Project Manager.
  • Review and update project review templates, Promis reports, promote commercial awareness, manage claim management, back‑charges, insurance cases and monitor follow‑up with suppliers and customers.
  • Follow up internal audit reports, ensure timely implementation of required actions, adhere to corporate governance, integrity, assurance, internal control, group charter and close all taxation documentation.
Qualifications
  • University degree in accounting or finance.
  • More than six years of project business controlling experience.
  • Expert knowledge of IFRS, US GAAP standard accounting.
  • Leadership skill to manage different cultures and cross‑function leads.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and problem‑solving skills, capable of working effectively under own initiative.
