A leading global technology firm in Kuala Lumpur seeks an Underwriter to manage administrative tasks related to medical applications. Responsibilities include conducting pre-underwriting assessments, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and preparing audit reports. This person will be responsible for underwriting administrative tasks (new application processing, participate in review meetings, and quality assurance) and pre-underwriting. They are expected to utilize knowledge in operation / medical / underwriting along with logical and analytical thinking, to ensure that the applications for enrolment and/or policy changes for individual health schemes are processed smoothly, compliant to guidelines and pre-underwritten in a consistent and accurate manner.
The purpose of the job is to ensure daily activity (like data-capture, email separation, filing, pre-underwriting, etc.) are handled smoothly and accurately as according to the guidelines and business rules, and client delivering quality outcome.
