Job summary

A telecommunications company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Senior Network Security Engineer to lead and implement network security projects. Candidates should have at least 7-8 years of corporate network security experience and hold relevant certifications such as CCNA or CCNP. Qualifications

• At least 7-8 years of experience in Corporate Network Security.
• Hands-on experience with Firewalls, IPS/ IDS, and VPNs.
• Knowledge of Security best practices, Network operations and Project Management.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement network security infrastructure.
• Operation and management of network security solutions.
• Document network performance and assist in troubleshooting.

Skills

Degree in computer science/ Information Technology

Network Industry certification (e.g CCNA, CCNP)

Corporate Network Security experience

Hands-on experience in Firewalls

Experience in VPNs

Knowledge of LAN, WAN and Data Centre standards

Education
