Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field.
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proven experience in developing large-scale brand campaigns and event marketing.
- Strong track record in managing dealer or distributor marketing, preferable across multiple locations or territories.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
- Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Experience in the automotive, retail, or lifestyle sectors is highly advantageous.
Responsibility
Nationwide Marketing Strategy & Execution
- Develop and lead Malaysia’s overall marketing communications strategy, ensuring alignment with the regional brand direction and business goals.
- Champion brand‑building and awareness initiatives through large‑scale campaigns, PR, media partnerships, and roadshows (e.g., auto expos, lifestyle events).
- Localise regional campaigns for the Malaysian market while maintaining Volt Auto’s EV brand identity and adherence to creative guidelines.
- Identify local market opportunities and consumer insights to drive awareness and preference for electric vehicles.
Dealer Marketing Oversight
- Partner with dealers nationwide to ensure consistent and effective marketing execution that drives showroom traffic and sales conversion.
- Establish and maintain dealer marketing standards, provide creative guidance, and evaluate their marketing performance.
- Review and seek regional HQ approval for dealer marketing proposals, ensuring effective and responsible use of support funds.
Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Build, coach, and lead a Malaysia marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, accountability, and high performance, ensuring high quality execution.
- Act as the key liaison between the Malaysia team and Singapore HQ, ensuring seamless communication and alignment with regional strategies.
- Collaborate with external agencies, media partners, and event organisers to maximise campaign impact and strengthen market presence.
Budget & Performance Management
- Oversee Malaysia’s marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources and maximum return on investment.
- Track and analyse marketing KPIs across brand campaigns, digital performance, and dealer activations, reporting results to Singapore HQ.
- Present performance reports and insights to the Singapore HQ, recommending strategies for continuous improvement and efficiency.
