Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager, Production, to join our team in Kuching, Malaysia. In this pivotal role, you will lead and oversee all aspects of our production operations, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across our manufacturing processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develop and implement strategic production plans aligned with organizational goals and business objectives.
Lead Shift Leaders, Manufacturing Engineers, production supervisors, and staff to achieve operational excellence.
Drive company values, culture, and operating principles across the team.
Develop talent, succession planning, and foster a high‑performance culture of continuous improvement.
Deliver production KPIs: Build targets, OEE, Labor Productivity, Yield, and Cost; Analyze production metrics and KPIs to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Execute build schedules with effective resource planning, capacity planning, BCP, and risk mitigation.
Manage production WIP control, PI Count, Cycle Time, and inventory levels; collaborate with supply chain partners to optimize inventory and production schedules.
Champion Operational Excellence, Continuous Improvement, and lean manufacturing principles.
REQUIRED:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering.
PREFERRED:
Minimum 4 years of experience in production management, with a proven track record of improving efficiency and quality.
Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and quality control systems.
Expertise in production planning, supply chain management, and cost control.
Proficiency in analyzing performance metrics and implementing data-driven improvements.
Excellent project management skills with the ability to lead multiple initiatives simultaneously.
In‑depth knowledge of manufacturing industry trends, regulations, and best practices.
Experience in 4IR and digitalization.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in team development and mentoring.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization.
