Senior Manager, Cybersecurity Change & Program
The successful candidate will be driving and managing an enterprise-wide cybersecurity program, bridging the gap between cyber strategy and practical implementation. This senior leadership role reports directly to the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) and is responsible for delivering the program of cybersecurity, from inception and technology delivery to cultural change and value realization.
This role demands a unique combination of deep technical understanding of cybersecurity technologies, expert-level program and project management skills, and a proven ability to lead and embed significant organizational change across all levels of the business.
What you will champion
Cybersecurity Program Leadership & Delivery:
- Program Ownership: Architect, lead, and oversee the end-to-end delivery of cybersecurity transformation program.
- Project Management Rigor: Establish and enforce a robust project management framework, ensuring all projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard of quality.
- Technology Lifecycle Management: Manage the complete project lifecycle for new cybersecurity technologies, including requirements gathering, vendor selection and procurement, implementation, and the measurement of value realization.
- Financial Stewardship: Develop and manage detailed program budgets, forecasts, and financial plans. Track expenditures and ensure optimal use of resources.
- Reporting & Governance: Provide regular, high-impact reporting to senior stakeholders, including executive leadership and the Board of Directors, on program status, risks, and benefits.
Organizational Change Management:
- Strategic Change Leadership: Design and execute a comprehensive change management strategy to drive the adoption of new cybersecurity policies, processes and culture across all business units.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Proactively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to C-suite executives, to build consensus and secure buy-in for change initiatives.
- Culture Shift: Architect and lead to embed a strong cybersecurity-aware culture throughout the organization, foster collaboration, and empower employees to be part of the solution.
- Communication & Training: Oversee the development and delivery of targeted communication plans and training programs to prepare employees for changes and equip them with the necessary skills and knowledge.
Who you are
- Experience: 10-12 years of experience in technology and/or business project management, stakeholder management, and/or technology deployments.
- Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Certifications: Professional certifications are highly preferred, such as PMP, PgMP, or PRINCE2 for program management, and relevant cybersecurity certifications like CISM.
- Change Management Expertise: Proven experience in leading large-scale organizational change management initiatives, with a solid understanding of change methodologies.
- Technical Acumen: Understanding of a wide range of cybersecurity domains and technologies and risk management.
- Stakeholder Management: Exceptional communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with a track record of successfully managing and influencing diverse stakeholder groups.
- Business & Financial Acumen: Strong financial planning, budgeting, and resource management skills, with the ability to articulate the business value and ROI of cybersecurity investments.
