A leading insurance company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Senior Manager, Actuarial Valuation, to oversee financial reporting and improve the quality of financial information. The successful candidate will have 8 to 15 years of relevant experience, a degree in Actuarial studies, and strong analytical abilities. Responsibilities include managing Allianz Group Reporting and supporting organizational transformation through enhanced actuarial controls. Senior Manager, Actuarial Valuation (Life Insurance)

You will be responsible for ensuring timely and efficient delivery of regional financial reporting, while continuously improving the quality of financial information to meet shareholder objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure accuracy, quality and timeliness of reporting, providing feedback on results achieved and highlighting areas at risk to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Accountable for Allianz Group Reporting, including Value of New Business and IFRS17 modelling.
  • Prepare business plans to identify key risk areas and develop appropriate mitigation strategies to ensure sustainable growth.
  • Support organizational transformation by strengthening actuarial controls and processes to achieve target productivity.
  • Track and ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and develop actuarial staff to improve technical know-how of the Department.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by Management.
Qualifications
  • Degree or Postgraduate in Actuarial studies.
  • 8 to 15 years of Actuarial Valuation‑related work experience.
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • High learning agility and work efficiency.
