A leading tech firm in Malaysia seeks an experienced HR professional to manage decision-making and organizational development. The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of experience as an HR generalist, expertise in Malaysian labor laws, and strong skills in training and recruitment. Responsibilities include developing HR strategies, overseeing hiring processes, and ensuring compliance with laws and policies, all aimed at enhancing the employee experience.
This position will assist in decision-making, organizational development and enforcing company policies. Mentor junior staff and guide managers on best practices.
Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the company’s goals and objectives.
Design and execute training and development programs that enhance employee skills and career growth.
Support organizational change and HR digitalization initiatives to improve efficiency and employee experience.
Help to develop and execute recruitment plans according to recruitment target.
Oversee the full hiring process, screening applicants, interviewing and onboarding.
Conduct exit interviews to understand employee behavior
Act as a key point of contact, resolving complex issues and promoting a positive, accountable work environment.
Conduct dispute resolution when necessary
Build active employee communication systems for all departments
Ensure that the company is compliant with local employment laws, regulations, and labor laws.
Oversee and provide necessary advice to ensure all operations are comply to company's policy
Designing competitive pay structures and benefits.
Conduct market analysis (benchmarking salaries) when necessary.
Maintain HRIS system and ensure data in system is up to date.
Oversee monthly payroll and ensure statutory compliance.
Prepare reports on staff costs and headcounts.
Assist in conducting performance appraiser annually.
Minimum 7 years of working experience as HR generalist.
Should processed in Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s or HR certification preferred)
Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and other relevant labour laws and regulations.
Experience in HR strategy planning and execution.
