A leading HR solutions provider in Penang is seeking an experienced Senior HR Executive to manage full HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, and compliance. The ideal candidate will have 5–8 years of relevant HR experience, strong knowledge of the Malaysia Employment Act, and be fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin. As our Senior HR Executive, you will manage the full spectrum of HR functions, driving recruitment, payroll, compliance, and employee engagement. Human Resource Management – Handle the full spectrum of HR functions, including recruitment, manpower planning, employee relations, letter preparation, compensation & benefits, training & development, performance management, payroll, and general administration.
Talent Acquisition – Manage the end-to-end recruitment processes independently, from sourcing to onboarding of new hires and handling terminations.
Payroll Management – Oversee payroll administration and ensure accurate processing of attendance, leave management, monthly staff claims, and reimbursements.
HR Administration – Maintain compliant HR documentation and filing system; update Employee Handbook, policies, and public holiday listings; and prepare and issue memos as required.
Employee Relations – Manage HR strategies and employee relations matters, including investigations, disciplinary actions, and terminations.
Employee Support – Act as the primary point of contact for HR-related queries and provide timely assistance.
Office Administrative – Support general office management and maintenance tasks.
Occupational Safety & Health (OSHA) – Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations and maintain relevant documentation.
Other Duties – Perform additional tasks as assigned by the superior.
Diploma/Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Minimum 5–8 years of relevant experience in HR functions.
Strong knowledge of the Malaysia Employment Act.
Responsible, meticulous, and detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.
Self-starter with initiative, independence, and confidentiality.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; able to interact effectively with all levels of staff.
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in MS Office applications; strong Excel skills are an advantage.
English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (mandatory requirement). Candidates must be fluent in all three languages. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.
