Job description

JOB PURPOSE

The role provides support in all departmental functions in relation to land acquisition. The primary function of this position is in preparation of preliminary feasibility study, internal management papers, management of consultants and transaction management post-definitive agreements.

JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
  • Support assessment of new development proposals including conducting relevant research, market study, benchmarking, competitors’ analysis and feasibility to assess the viability of the proposal.
  • Oversee the transaction management during Conditions Precedents period and track all progress to ensure all parties are in time for perfection of ownership transfer.
  • Follow through with various internal departments, i.e., Finance, Legal, Investor Relations, Strategic Stakeholder Management to ensure smooth execution of various documentation for the purpose of definitive agreements.
  • Coordinate with various internal departments in support of the preparation of financial feasibility and development scheme.
  • Assists in exploring and identifying new lands that could contribute to the Company’s growth pillars.
  • Liaise closely with authorities and local councils in relation, but not limited, to development policies and guidelines.
  • Provide adequate support in all aspects of management pertaining to land acquisition.
  • Assist in preparation of Management approval papers to support land acquisition decisions to the Management/BDC/Board.
MINIMUM ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & TECHNICAL COMPETENCES
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate / Architecture / Quantity Surveying / Project Management / Engineering / Finance / Accounting or other relevant and equivalent discipline or experience.
  • More than 4 years working experience and a minimum of 3 years in real estate development.
  • Have deep understanding and insights into the property industry and broader real estate landscape.
  • Independent and resourceful, with the ability to challenge conventional approaches and adapt effectively in fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Possess wide networks within the real estate industry.
  • Possess good command of language, with strong writing, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal qualities: a self-starter who is resilient, decisive, proactive, and creatively driven.
