Job summary

A leading property development firm in Johor Bahru is seeking a dedicated professional to manage tender documentation and project bids. The successful candidate will evaluate contractor work, negotiate contracts, and assist in overseeing contract administration. A degree in Quantity Surveying is required, along with at least 2 years of experience in a related field. Job description

Job Responsibilities
  • Preparing tender documentation for project bids and contract documentation with successful tender.
  • Evaluate contractor's work done including site measurement, taking off quantities from drawings, preparing progress payment, evaluation of variation works, and project final account documentation.
  • Negotiations with contractors and suppliers in tender and/or quotation exercise.
  • Assist superior with monitoring and managing the overall administration of various contracts and sub-contract works including preparation of tender reports, costing justification, recommendation of tender award order certificates and final accounts documentation.
  • Responsible for preparation/implementation of periodic statutory & management accounting reports.
  • Evaluate and recommend the consultant's progress payment.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks and responsibilities as assigned by the superior from time to time.
Job Requirements
  • Possess a Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related discipline.
  • 2 years of working experience in related field.
  • Experience in construction/developer field will be an added advantage.
