Job summary

A property development company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced accountant to handle a full set of accounts and financial statements. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in accounting, be proficient in accounting software, and have a strong background in property investment or development. Responsibilities include performing financial transactions, liaising with auditors, and preparing tax schedules. Immediate availability is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Computer literate and proficient in accounting software.
• Preferable experience in Property Investment, Development, or related industries.

Responsibilities

Job description

Handle a full set of accounts and financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements.

Perform Accounts Receivable and Payable transactions, including invoicing, debit note and payment voucher.

Assist in day-to-day accounting functions.

Liaise with external auditors, tax agents and bank on accounts and finance-related matters.

Prepare audits and tax schedules for audit and tax purposes.

To perform proper filing of documentation.

To perform other financial or accounts-related tasks as and when required.

Requirements:-

Candidates must possess at least a Diploma / Degree in Accounting or equivalent.

At least 5 years of working experience in the relevant position.

Computer literate with sound knowledge in the usage of accounting software [SQL & (MHW - Wiz & Keypoints)]

Preferably working experience in Property Investment, Property Development, Asset Management, Construction & Hotel industries.

Able to start immediately would be an added advantage.
