A logistics firm is looking for a Senior Exec/Assistant Manager in Petaling Jaya to manage end-to-end logistics operations. Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end logistics operations, including order processing, shipping (imports & exports), receiving, warehousing and outbound transportations to customer receiving.
  • Collaborate with third party logistics, approved vendors and cross functional teams to streamline and execute warehousing and distribution processes.
  • Implement best practice strategies to deliver cost savings and improve logistics operating costs.
  • Drive & leverage D&A for improvement insights.
  • Monitor key performance metrics and identify areas for improvement in logistics operations.
  • Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Lead the Order Management team and foster a positive productive work environment while driving order processing efficiency.
  • Troubleshoot system errors, identify root causes and develop effective improvements.

Who Are We Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in logistics, order processing, and warehouse management.
  • Background in end-to-end logistics operations, including both international and local distribution.
  • Proven ability to work with SAP systems, with excellent troubleshooting capabilities.
  • Leadership experience in a Multinational Company (MNC) setup.

Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday
  • Standard office hours (details will be shared during interview)

Salary Range

RM4000 - RM5500

Employment Type

Full-time - 9 months contract (renewable upon performance)
