Job summary

A manufacturing company located in Johor Bahru is seeking a qualified individual to conduct inspections, manage quality control, and drive continuous improvements in die casting operations. Candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field, along with 3–5 years of relevant experience. The role demands a strong knowledge of die casting processes, quality tools, and effective problem-solving skills. The company operates on a 4-day workweek, ensuring weekends off.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience in High Pressure Die Casting (HPDC) or Die Casting Factory operations.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA.
• Familiar with 8D Problem Solving, DMAIC.

Responsibilities

• Conduct incoming, in-process, and final inspections.
• Perform casting defect analysis and root cause elimination.
• Coordinate supplier quality and manage supplier audits.
• Handle customer complaints and ensure effective resolutions.
• Prepare and manage APQP, PPAP documentation, and FMEA.
• Lead internal quality audits and ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Drive continuous improvement and zero-defect initiatives.

Skills

Knowledge of Die Casting Process & Defect Analysis

Good in customer handling

Familiar with 7 QC Tools

Experience with APQP, PPAP, FMEA

Education
