Job description
  • Responsible for sustaining & improving the wafer backend/coating process
  • Execute process engineering tasks & support production to meet process KPIs – Output, Quality & Scrap Cost
  • Monitor, maintain and qualify process, equipment/tools/fixtures for production used
  • Perform periodic verification and process related disposition
  • Experience with wafer backend process is a significant advantage for this position, as it will enhance the candidate's ability to achieve precise and accurate equipment setups.
  • Observational skills to notice discrepancies, understand the manufacturing process in detail, troubleshooting at an appropriate level and involving senior members of staff
  • Communication skill to communicate and interface well with peers, enhance teamwork
  • Derive Continual Improvement and use of resources
  • Performing any other duties as directed by the immediate superior from time to time.
  • Program, troubleshoot and maintain manufacturing process equipment as required to meet the required yield target
Education & Experience
  • Diploma of Engineering preferably majoring in Mechatronics/Mechanical/Electrical.
  • Minimum3 to 5 years of working experience in semiconductor industries, preferably 8 years’ experience working in high mix and high-volume manufacturing environment will be an added advantage.
  • Willing to work on 12-hours shift, independently and able to solve basic technical issues
Skills
  • Must exhibit a strong sense of analytical skills with hands on working attitude.
  • Adaptable and flexible to rapid changes to the business needs of the company.
  • Good knowledge of mechanical dimensioning & tolerancing analysis, poka-yoke principles will be an added advantage.
  • Assist engineers & perform any duties as directed by the immediate supervisor from time to time.
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and enjoy the process of problem-solving
  • Good computer literacy, SPC & OPAC knowledge
