The Role

We are seeking a Senior Art Director with a passion for automotive brands, digital innovation, and social content production to join our global creative team in Malaysia. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual future of leading automotive brands—driving creative excellence, business impact, and future growth across the Middle East region.

You are a strategic thinker, a visual storyteller, and a business partner. You bring over 10 years of creative leadership experience, a deep understanding of automotive brand marketing, and mastery of emerging technologies including AI image generation. You have a proven track record in producing high‑volume, high‑quality social content for digital platforms. You thrive in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment and are ready to set new benchmarks for creativity in the automotive sector.

Key Responsibilities
Creative Leadership & Visual Strategy
  • Lead the end-to-end visual development of brand campaigns, ensuring creative output aligns with client business objectives and brand strategy.
  • Establish and maintain robust brand visual systems, guaranteeing consistency across all platforms and media formats.
  • Inspire and empower the creative team to elevate the quality, efficiency, and innovation of our work.
Automotive Industry Expertise
  • Bring a deep understanding of the automotive marketing funnel, delivering visual solutions for product launches, brand revitalization, and digital campaigns.
  • Translate market and consumer insights into compelling visual narratives that resonate with automotive audiences in the Middle East.
  • Demonstrate a strong grasp of luxury and new energy vehicle branding, with an eye for premium aesthetics and innovation.
Social Content Production
  • Lead the creation and production of high-volume, high-quality social content tailored for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and emerging channels.
  • Develop and execute innovative social‑first visual strategies that drive engagement, brand awareness, and business results.
  • Stay ahead of social content trends, ensuring TEAM LEWIS and our clients remain at the cutting edge of digital storytelling.
Technology Application & Innovation
  • Champion the integration of AI image generation tools and cutting‑edge technologies (motion design, 3D, immersive experiences) into the creative process.
  • Continuously explore new paradigms of visual expression to keep TEAM LEWIS and our clients at the forefront of digital creativity.
Team Collaboration & Client Communication
  • Collaborate seamlessly with key stakeholders across multiple markets (UK, ME, and APAC) to ensure alignment on project status, deliverables, and client feedback.
  • Present and articulate the strategic thinking and business value behind creative ideas to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Mentor and guide junior creatives, fostering a culture of high craft, innovation, and continuous learning.
About You
  • 10+ years of experience in art direction or senior design roles, ideally with significant focus on automotive brand campaigns.
  • Proven expertise in AI image generation tools, with a portfolio showcasing relevant work.
  • Demonstrated experience leading integrated brand campaigns with strategic and business impact.
  • Extensive experience in high‑volume social content production for digital platforms.
  • Excellent team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Highly attuned to visual trends, with an international and multicultural aesthetic perspective.
  • Familiarity with user experience design or interactive visual design.
  • Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to guide junior creatives and manage external partners when needed.
  • Confident communicator with strong verbal and visual presentation skills; able to present ideas clearly to both internal teams and senior clients.
