What your typical day will look like

As the Senior Analyst, People Cost & Strategy – APAC, you will be responsible for managing the region’s HR Operating model analytics, progress and commercial process to ensure Cluster consistency and optimization. Additionally, as a regional key support role you will support Organizational Effectiveness modelling, capability analysis and support detailed workforce composition analysis across APAC markets. This role partners with HR, Finance, and business leaders to ensure that workforce investments are optimized, market trends are understood, and organizational structures are fit for purpose and future ready.

Core responsibilities include
  • Lead HR budgeting and financial management for APAC, partnering with Finance and HR to align workforce costs with business strategy; develop and maintain workforce cost models (headcount, compensation, benefits); track HR operating model costs (including ratios and CTS); and monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend actions to ensure fiscal discipline and cost optimization.
  • Drive comprehensive workforce composition and analytics, conducting FTE ratio reviews, cost benchmarking, job family segmentation, and market-specific trend analysis; use advanced analytics to evaluate workforce shape, capacity, and cost profiles; prepare market-level reports to inform strategic workforce planning; and manage gender equity and pay parity reporting across APAC, ensuring compliance and delivering actionable insights.
  • Support organizational design and job architecture initiatives, reviewing HR and business insights to influence structures, job levels, and spans of control; contribute to org design and Reward projects by mapping current-state structures and assessing job level mix; collaborate with Reward and Talent to ensure alignment with career frameworks and market competitiveness; and support capability analysis and investment planning across clusters.
  • Provide strategic HR leadership, advising the Director, HR Operating Office on workforce planning, budgeting, and organizational health; champion HR analytics, org design, and budgeting best practices across APAC; and ensure adherence to local regulations and global HR policies, including support for audits and reporting requirements.
A bit about you
