Senior Accounts cum Human Resource Executive

Chicken Plus (KL) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking an experienced Senior Accounts cum Human Resource Executive to join our dynamic team in Taman Perindustrian OUG, Kuala Lumpur. This full-time role will be responsible for managing the company's financial accounting and reporting, as well as overseeing human resource functions.

What you’ll be doing
  • Preparing monthly and annual financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Maintaining the general ledger, accounts receivable and accounts payable, and ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
  • Reconciling bank statements and other accounts, and resolving any discrepancies.
  • Administering payroll, including calculating and processing salary payments, deductions and benefits.
  • Coordinating leave and attendance management, and assisting with the implementation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Supporting the management team with ad hoc projects and other duties as required.
  • Providing guidance and training to junior members of the finance team.
  • Ensuring compliance with LHDN, SOCSO, EPF, EIS, HRDF and other statutory bodies.
  • Liaising with auditors, tax agents, and government authorities.
  • Handling payroll records, payslips, and annual EA forms.
What we’re looking for
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar senior accounts or finance role, preferably in a professional services or consulting environment.
  • Proficient in financial accounting and reporting, with a strong understanding of Malaysian accounting standards and tax regulations.
  • Experience in payroll processing and HR administration.
  • Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in using SQL accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
