Bruker Malaysia is looking for an experiencedSenior Accountant to join our team based in Shah Alam, Selangor, Malaysia. Will ensure effective finance policies & procedures are implemented for all financial and fiscal management aspects of operations with the objective of contributing to the company in achieving its financial management.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring the account transaction are recorded properly and complied with US GAAP & Local Statutory Accounting Standard
• Review and improve accounting processes for accuracy and efficiency
• Maintain general ledger accounts by reconciling accounts receivable & payable detail and control accounts
• Minimize un-reconcile items and long outstanding transaction by coordinate with related department
• Verify and record revenue recognition by monthly basis
• Responsible for inventory checking by leading service team for yearly basis
• Support corporate BPC reporting / prepare financial statement with company deadline
• Undertake, prepare, and support financial reporting and corporate tax submission & filing
• Support Month / Quarterly & Year end close activity
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning
• Perform Bi-Monthly filing tax returns- SST to Kastam
• Liaise with internal & external auditors to prepare all documents necessary for annual auditing, supporting annual audit process
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
• 5-8 years’ related work experience within a manufacturing or trading work environment
• Hands on experience in accounting month-end process and preparing accounting reports
• Strong hands on SAP S4 Hana work experience
• Self-motivated, responsible, well-organized
• Able to work under pressure with strong time-management skills
• Ability to coordinate, work proactively, and take responsibility in the role
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Possess strong service mindset to effectively support and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
• Positive attitude with ability to deliver high quality work in a timely manner
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Possess good command of written and spoken English
• Operates with a high standard of ethics, integrity, and professionalism
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a complex, global environment, builds and maintains constructive work relationships.
• Ability to satisfactorily complete position compliance and training requirements.
