GARDEN WORLD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Account & Finance Executive to join our team in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur. This is a full-time position that will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity and reporting of our organisation. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for a wide range of accounting and financial duties to support the overall business objectives.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records and ensuring compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards
• Assisting in the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures
• Providing financial analysis and support to the management team to aid in strategic decision-making
• Coordinating and overseeing the month-end and year-end closing processes
• Liaising with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and tax authorities
• Mentoring and training junior members of the finance team

Qualifications

• A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• CPA or ACCA qualification is preferred
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar senior-level finance role, preferably in the Accounting and Financial Accounting & Reporting industry
• Preferably with experience in the property development industry
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and compliance requirements
• Proficient in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficient in the use of financial software and MS Office suite
