We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to join our dynamic team in Johor Bahru, Johor. This is a full‑time position that plays a crucial role in overseeing the full spectrum of accounting activities, particularly in supporting our F&B operations, as well as the company’s overall financial accounting and reporting functions.

In this role, you will be responsible for managing daily finance tasks, ensuring accurate financial reporting, monitoring cash flow, and supporting management in financial planning. You will also supervise junior accounting staff and ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and company policies.

What you’ll be doing

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including invoices, ledgers, and reconciliations
• Assist in the preparation of periodic financial statements and reports
• Liaise with internal departments and external stakeholders to ensure timely and effective financial reporting
• Provide support in the implementation of accounting policies and procedures
• Participate in the monthly and annual closing processes
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance financial efficiency
• Contribute to the continuous development and enhancement of the company’s accounting systems and tools

What we’re looking for

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar financial accounting and reporting role, preferably in the marketing or advertising industry
• Excellent knowledge of financial accounting principles, practices, and regulations
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in using accounting software and spreadsheet applications
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
• Preferably able to communicate in Chinese (spoken and/or written)
• A relevant degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Professional accounting certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) is an advantage
