Job summary

A leading manufacturer of bodywork for commercial vehicles is seeking a Project Management Support role focused on sales and project coordination. The ideal candidate will manage documentation, liaise with sales teams, and ensure timely delivery of projects. A diploma/degree in Marketing, Business, Administration, or Engineering is required. Good communication skills and self-motivation are essential. Knowledge of AutoCAD is a plus. Candidates who can communicate in Mandarin are preferred.

Based in Malaysia, it designs and manufactures bus bodies, assembles buses, and exports to over 15 global markets, including the USA, Australia, UAE, and Singapore, adhering to each region's road safety regulations. The company is dedicated to providing sustainable, innovative solutions that meet the evolving needs of customers embracing environmentally friendly transportation. It has supplied buses and bus bodies to major operators such as SBS Transit, SMRT, Rapid Bus, and Kwoon Chung Bus.

Job Description

• Support sales team on documentation required for sales activities, e.g., presentations.
• Follow up and liaise with sales team and customer on quotation matters.
• Provide regular reports on project progress for existing customers.
• Project management: Coordinate with other departments to ensure correct parts procurement, product assembly and timely delivery.
• Maintain accurate minutes of discussions and filing records (e.g., GA layout, body specifications and color schemes).
• Prepare various reports in a timely manner (e.g., project development log and project records).
• Study, plan and implement processes to ensure smooth project management, production progress and on-time delivery.
• Follow up and liaise with project team, engineers and production regarding sales and project matters.
• Focus of projects: mainly on international markets, including the USA, Hong Kong, Australia, Singapore, Dubai, etc. Delegation of markets will be determined based on the candidate's capability.
• Ensure departmental or team activities align with the organization's environmental goals.
• Participate in training programs related to environmental management and ISO 14001.
• Promote environmental awareness within the department and encourage colleagues to adopt environmentally responsible practices.
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of documentation related to the EMS, including procedures and records.
• Ensure that departmental records are accurate and up to date.
• Collaborate with team members to contribute to the company objectives.

Job Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business/Admin or Engineering.
• Presentable and able to give presentations.
• Good communication skills and ability to work effectively with team members.
• Discipline, self-motivated and independent.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD will be an advantage.
• Mandarin speakers are preferred because you will need to communicate with customers in Mandarin.
