A leading engineering solutions provider in Selangor, Malaysia is seeking a Business Development Manager to spearhead new business initiatives for specific product solutions such as Explosion Proof Electrical and Datacenter Infrastructure. Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, preferably have over 5 years of experience, and possess strong strategic sales skills. The role focuses on managing corporate accounts and requires effective collaboration within a technical team environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of working experience in related field.
  • Experience in Business Development for Engineering/Technical/IT.
  • Malaysian citizens or relevant residence status preferred.

Job description

To develop new business for the specific products solution - Explosion Proof Electrical, Multi Cable Transit, Hyperscale Datacenter Infrastructure, Passive Fire Seal, Manholes Water Seal, Flood Barrier System, Enclosures/Panels/Cabinets, Cable Fire Protection, Electrical Power Tools, Cable Solutions, Cable Support System, Clamp Fastening Solution, Lightning/Grounding, Structures/Grating/Environmental Protection.

To work closely with Application Engineers Team to develop volume business and identify business partner.

Expand product portfolio sales to exiting & industries been assigned i.e. (1) Manufacturing or (2) Infra Structures or (3) Regional Sales across all industries.

Corporate Business Development and managing enterprise customer accounts base.

Sales forecast, planning, follow up and market penetration.

Sales presentation and solution provider for the specific products range.

Sales & Marketing activities in generating more sales leads.

Good customer service for repeat sales & references.

Sales Account management and business partners management.

Sales Cold call.

Analytical & strategic sales approach.

Requirements:

Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree Engineering (Electrical/Power) or equivalent.

Required skill(s): Corporate Strategic Sales Cold Call, discipling, sales & marketing strategic planning, etc.

Preferred skill(s): Aggressive, Initiative, team player, high performer and good market coverage.

Required language(s): English.

At least 5 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Preferably Senior Executives/Manager specializing in Business Development - Engineering/Technical/IT or equivalent.

Applicants should be Malaysian citizens or hold relevant residence status.

Industry serving: IT Datacenter Infrastructure, Substation/Power Plant, O&G, Ship buildings, Foods, Semiconductors, Pharmaceutical, heavy industry, high-rise buildings, telco infrastructure, system integrator or package owners, OEM manufacturing plant, transportation, government mega public infrastructure.
