Job Summary

As part of EPOS’ strategic expansion into the Malaysian market, we are building a dynamic team of Account Managers to drive our ambitious growth plans. This is a unique opportunity to join a mission-driven team dedicated to empowering Small and Medium Enterprise (SME) owners to embrace digital transformation through EPOS’ cutting‑edge solutions, including Point‑of‑Sale (POS) systems and Payment Terminals.

In this Sales Manager role, you will play a critical part in developing sales strategies and leading a team of Account Managers by motivating them to achieve sales targets through new merchant acquisition.

You’ll work directly with business owners, understand their pain points, and position EPOS as the trusted partner to digitalize their operations—from F&B to Retail and beyond—leveraging our POS solutions, Soundbox devices, and Payment Terminals.

This is what your job scope will be...

Leadership

  • Recruiting, training, and mentoring team members.
  • Drive, lead and motivate team, setting sales target and ensuring team meet targets
  • Analyzing sales data, tracking performance against targets, and providing feedback to the team

Acquiring Merchants

  • Handle on‑ground sales strategies like proactive cold calling, outbound lead, and engage inbound leads to identifying potential merchants to onboard with EPOS
  • Conduct sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential Merchants.
  • Negotiate and communicate contract terms with key Merchants to seal agreements.

Account Management

  • Engage key merchants and provide the best solutions to address their business needs and maximize their sales potential

Stakeholders

  • Build relationships & engage key merchants on a daily basis
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams including marketing, operations, customer success & service.
  • You have previous work experience (Ideally 5 years), sales pitching to customer on products, digital solution or services (including leading sales team)
  • You have good understanding & connections in SME or/ F&B or / and Retail industries
  • You are outgoing and proactively seek opportunities to drive sales.
  • You are a fantastic communicator and have strong ability to influence
  • You are result‑oriented person, motivated and committed to success.
  • You are enthusiastic and willing to learn.
