We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Sales Manager to lead and grow our AMHS (Automated Material Handling Systems) business within Malaysia’s semiconductor market. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing sales plans for AMHS equipment and products, while building long-term customer partnerships in a highly technical, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Business Development & Sales
- Develop and execute sales and business development strategies for AMHS solutions in Malaysia semiconductor customer
- Identify new business opportunities, expand customer relationships, and drive order intake and revenue growth.
- Lead customer engagement activities, including technical-commercial discussions, solution presentations, and proposal clarification.
- Prepare and coordinate quotations, commercial proposals, and contract negotiations in alignment with company pricing and profitability targets.
- Act as the primary commercial contact for customers during pre-sales and contract phases.
- Customer & Internal Coordination
- Coordinate with internal Product, Engineering, and Operations teams to define technical scope, commercial terms, and delivery assumptions during the bidding phase.
- Facilitate internal reviews for pricing, cost structure, risk assessment, and approval processes.
- Support smooth handover from Sales to Project / Operations teams after order confirmation, ensuring clarity of scope, commercial terms, and customer expectations.
- Maintain regular communication with customers to manage expectations and support long‑term partnership development.
- Market & Commercial Management
- Monitor market trends, customer demand, and competitor activities in the semiconductor AMHS and automation industry.
- Support sales forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting through CRM systems.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure contract terms, payment milestones, and commercial risks are well managed.
Qualifications
- Working Experience
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in semiconductor industry sales, business development, or commercial roles related to AMHS, automation systems, semiconductor equipment, or wafer fabrication facilities.
- Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing environments, including AMHS systems, FEOL and BEOL wafer fabs, and equipment integration.
- Proven track record in B2B sales, key account management, or business development within the semiconductor or high‑tech equipment industry.
- Ability to translate customer technical requirements into commercially viable solutions.
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams across engineering, operations, supply chain, and finance.
- Strong analytical skills with a results‑driven and customer‑focused mindset.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., English and Mandarin) is an added advantage.
