Job summary

A leading tyre distribution company in Malaysia seeks a Sales Executive to drive business growth by marketing and selling their range of tyres and alloy wheels. This involves personally contacting new business accounts while maintaining relationships with existing customers. Candidates should have at least a Diploma in Business or Marketing, with a minimum of 1-year sales experience or be fresh graduates eager to learn. The role requires excellent communication skills, a pleasant personality, and willingness to travel extensively.

Qualifications

Overview

Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration in the company.

Personally contact and secure new business accounts and customers while maintaining good relationships with current customers.

Job Responsibilities
  • Drive business growth by marketing and selling company's range of Tyres & Alloy Wheels.
  • Develop sales and look for new prospect aggressively by visiting new customers on monthly basis. Also, identify new and potential customers from various industries.
  • Visit existing and potential clients regularly to maintain relationships and understand their needs.
  • Ensure prompt collection on receivables from customers. Ensure the credit term is strictly adhered.
  • Coordinate & update the outstanding issues with customers’ examples, claims, goods returned & credit notes.
  • Provide regular market and customer feedback during team discussions and sales meetings.
  • Ensure achievement of sales & profit objectives by determining territory objectives, planning individual targets with HOD and reviewing sales force performance.
  • Provide product services and training to the customers.
  • Attend trade shows, networking events, and industry conferences when required.
Job Requirements
  • Possess at least a Diploma or higher qualification in Business, Marketing, or related field, providing a strong foundation for understanding sales processes.
  • Minimum 1 year of sales experience, preferably in the tyre or automotive industry.
  • Fresh graduates with a keen interest in sales are encouraged to apply.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Strong negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
  • Pleasant personality, self-motivated and willing to learn.
