Job description

Job Purpose:

  • To build customer relationships and attract new customers to use Carlist.my by managing the accounts and territory that has been assigned.
  • To promote Carlist.my to potential customers and enable adaptation.
  • To promote monetized products and upsell upcoming enhancements.
  • To collect customer feedback and channel the issues to relevant departments, ensuring solutions are provided accordingly.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Engage all dealers in assigned areas given by the HoD.
  • Sell monetized products and other enhancement products.
  • Train and guide dealers on how to use the product.
  • Manage dealer inventory lists to ensure updated and quality listings.
  • Build, revive, and manage customer accounts, and acquire new customers.
  • Contact and follow up on any inconsistencies.
  • Furnish daily activity reports inclusive of closed won/lost by territory and accounts.
  • Work actively towards monthly car listings and revenue targets.
  • Gather and analyze market intelligence from assigned areas.
  • Build and maintain excellent relationships with dealers.
  • Liaise with the listings force team to ensure listing quality is achieved.
  • Perform ad-hoc tasks when required.

Requirements:

  • Own transportation is required for this job as daily client visitation is necessary.
  • Possess a minimum school certificate (SPM or equivalent).
  • Relevant work experience in outdoor sales (1+ years).
  • Excellent product knowledge.
  • Proficiency in relevant computer applications (MS Office).
  • Required language(s): Malay and English; ability to converse in Mandarin/Cantonese is an added advantage.
  • Courteous when meeting customers face-to-face.
  • Good time management skills.
