Job description
Responsibilities
  • Proactively seek out and acquire new clients, driving the growth of our Engineering Solutions businesses.
  • Accurately identify the needs and develop and nurture relationships with both existing and potential customers, primarily within the engineering and manufacturing industries.
  • Provide exceptional customer support by guiding clients towards successful outcomes.
  • Foster strong relationships with both clients and internal team members to ensure effective communication and problem-solving.
  • Develop new accounts and serve existing customers; expand product range and usage in the assigned territory with a proactive mindset that focuses on exceeding sales growth.
  • Ensure personal sales targets are met.
  • Curate strong relationships with customers.
  • Organise and plan proper scheduling of sales activities.
  • Manage existing customers and prospect new customers, especially within the targeted market in engineering and manufacturing industries.
  • Ensure timely and accurate forecasts – monthly and quarterly.
  • Maintain a healthy pipeline (sales funnel) size – 3x of target.
  • Submit reports (e.g., sales activity report) in a timely and accurate manner.
  • Execute the objectives of BFT sales activities to ensure good sales management.
  • Prepare sales reports as required by the business unit head or management.
Qualifications
  • Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Mechanical/Mechatronic or any engineering‑related field.
  • 2–3 years in sales, preferably selling into manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aviation, aerospace, tool & die, tooling etc. industries.
  • Experience selling engineering software, products or services (e.g., Catia, UG NX, CAE, Solidworks, Autodesk, CAD, Factory Automation, Industrial Automation, IoT, CNC etc.) is a bonus.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem‑solving skills.
  • Goal‑oriented, highly motivated, and able to work under pressure.
  • Sales‑driven with strong customer support capabilities.
  • Having own transport is an added advantage.
