Overview

The Sales Assistant supports the sales team in managing customer orders, preparing sales documentation, coordinating with production and logistics, and ensuring smooth sales operations. This role is essential in maintaining customer satisfaction and efficient order processing within a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the sales team in preparing quotations, sales orders, invoices, and delivery documents
  • Process customer purchase orders accurately and in a timely manner
  • Coordinate with production, warehouse, and logistics departments to ensure on-time delivery
  • Maintain and update customer records, pricing, and sales data in the system
  • Handle customer inquiries regarding product availability, order status, and delivery schedules
  • Support sales reports, forecasts, and monthly sales summaries
  • Follow up with customers on orders, documentation, and payments (if required)
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, and procedures
  • Assist in sales meetings, exhibitions, or customer visits when necessary
Qualifications
  • Minimum Diploma or equivalent qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field
  • 1–2 years of experience in sales support or administrative role (manufacturing experience preferred)
  • Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia (Mandarin is an advantage)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Team player with a positive and proactive attitude
