About the job Safety Data Information Officer
Company Background:
A leading manufacturer of prefabricated modular data center solutions, specialize in the data center and power systems industry. With R&D facilities in Shanghai and high-end manufacturing plants in Shanghai and Malaysia, it delivers innovative solutions for hyperscale data center projects globally. The company is located in Johor Bahru, and the actual working location is subject to the project.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage and maintain all EHS-related documents and files in accordance with internal policies and technical quality specifications.
  • Regularly update and archive EHS documents to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and traceability.
  • Assist in the preparation, review, and revision of EHS management manuals, procedures, and related documentation.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze EHS data and reports to support operational decision-making.
  • Provide insights through EHS data analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Monitor and ensure compliance with the latest EHS laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Support internal and external EHS audits, including documentation review and audit preparation.
  • Organize and coordinate EHS training sessions for employees, and maintain accurate training records.
  • Assist in tracking incidents, near misses, and hazards, and ensure timely follow-up on corrective actions.
  • Liaise with external agencies for EHS-related documentation and reporting requirements.
  • Carry out duties in strict compliance with relevant technical and quality specifications.
  • Perform other ad hoc duties as assigned by the EHS department.
Requirements:
  • Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
  • Familiarity with EHS management systems, documentation standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office and data management tools.
  • Experience in EHS data handling or auditing is an advantage.
