Our client is Singapore’s preferred destination for all things sun-safe and stylish. As the company continues to grow, they are seeking a highly capable Malaysian Operations Manager to join their team and play a key role in driving service and operational excellence.
(This is an onsite role based in Singapore.)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations across outlets, ensuring smooth, efficient, and customer-focused service delivery.
- Take full ownership of P&L performance, implementing strategies to achieve sales and profitability targets in alignment with senior management.
- Lead, train, and motivate staff, fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
- Design, coordinate, and implement operational systems that enhance efficiency and deliver consistent excellence in customer experience.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with management on business development initiatives, promotions, and strategic projects.
Required Skills & Experiences
- Minimum 5 years of proven retail management experience, preferably within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
- 3–4 years of experience managing people.
- Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to develop, mentor, and retain high-performing teams.
- Solid understanding of P&L management and experience in executing strategies to drive sales growth.
- Proactive, resourceful, and hands-on, with strong ownership of results.
- Proficiency in English, Chinese, and Malay is preferred to effectively liaise with diverse staff and customers.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities, with an eye for operational details and process improvements.
Preferred Skills & Experiences
- Experience in fashion retail is highly recommended.
