Recreation Lead – Birthdays & Social Family Events (Part-Time)

Join the Bellevue Club and Hotel team. As the premier athletic and social club on Seattle’s Eastside, the Bellevue Club is a gathering place for the Northwest’s most celebrated and visionary citizens. Dedicated to the well-being of its members, the property merges 250,000 square feetof world-class fitness facilities and four innovative dining spaces with unique recreational, social, and business areas. Members enjoy yoga classes, tennis matches, lunches with family, wine dinners, and more. The property is also home to the Bellevue Club Hotel, a luxury 66-room boutique hotel, and a full-service spa withcutting-edgewellness offerings.

The Bellevue Club Recreation Department is seekingan energetic, service-oriented Recreation Lead to support the planning, coordination, and execution of Birthday Parties and Social Family Events . This role serves as a lead support position , acting as a host for events while also working in ratio during Friday night and weekend family programming.

Shifts Hiring:

• Must be availableSaturdays and Sundays: 12:00pm – 6:30pm
• Fridays as scheduled for Family Gym Night, Kids Take Over, and other Social Family Events

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Assistwith planning, preparation, and execution of birthday parties and social family events
• Serve as a host for birthday parties, ensuring a welcoming, organized, and fun experience for members and guests
• Set up and break down party rooms, including tables, chairs, linens, and décor as needed
• Instruct and guide party guests during gym-based activities
• Deliver foodto Birthday Parties
• Support and work Friday programs such as Family Gym Night, Kids Take Over,Kids Movie Nightand other Social Family Events
• Assistwith setup and takedown of gym-based activities and inflatable equipment (including bouncy houses)
• Complete billing and ensureaccurateevent documentation
• Clean and reset event spaces, including returning linens, disposing of trash, and storing equipment
• Provide exceptional customer service to members, guests, and families
• Support Recreation staff and leadership during events as needed
• Assist in Childcare as needed
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Experience working with children and familiesrequired
• Prior experience in recreation, childcare, camps, events, or hospitality strongly preferred
• Strong communication, leadership, and customer service skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
• Team-oriented, dependable, and enthusiastic
